Do you know what is it in the picture? May be a lot of people don't know that. It is one of traditional snacks from Sunda, West Java. Its name is opak . In English, opak can be defined as roasted disc shaped rice crackers. It is made from rice flour. There are two variants of opak, salty and sweet opak. If i have to choose, i prefer to choose salty opak . I think it is more delicious. But my friend from Jogja likes the sweet. Salty or sweet, it depends on your taste. You can taste it if you come to West Java. You can easily find it in my regency, Ciamis. That is the simple explanation about opak . Hopefully this information is useful. Opor ayam is one of a popular dishes in Indonesia. Opor ayam is a chicken stewed in coconut milk. Many people like the dish. It is so delicious and tasty. In Indonesia, opor ayam can be found in almost every house when Muslims celebrate Lebaran (Ied al Fitri). Opor ayam will be a special dish in a special day like Lebaran. Gorengan is one of the Indonesian traditional food. There are some people called gorengan as ''mendoan''. In English, gorengan means something fried. There are so many kinds of gorengan. A favorite among students, this savory meatball noodle soup gained international fame when U.S. President Barack Obama remembered it as one of his favorites during a visit to Jakarta last November.
